Bruce Holmes Honored with the H. Clifford Lee Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulations to our President and COO Bruce Holmes, the 2016 Recipient of the H. Clifford Lee Lifetime Achievement Award! Bruce received this award from the Association of Fundraising Professional’s Central Florida Chapter for his service as the local board chair for Children’s Home Society of Florida and his leadership in helping to create The Faine House, a residential home for teens who have exited foster care without families.  Bruce believes that all children should have opportunities to lead successful, independent lives — and if they aren’t able to do it with the help of a family, then Bruce trusts that Children’s Home Society of Florida is ready to support them on their individual journeys toward independence.

Beyond their commitment to The Faine House, Bruce and his wife, Kathie, have made an immeasurable difference through the years as a foster and adoptive family for three wonderful children. The experience has helped shape not only their own lives but, of course, also the lives of the children that they saved from growing up without loving and supportive parents.
