WELBRO and our JV partner, The Pike Company, provided preconstruction and construction services for the new Daytona Beach Kennel Club and Poker Room, a modern facility with state-of-the-art technology, a wide array of hospitality and dining, and a big-league poker room and other entertainment providing more of a Las Vegas-style experience. The project consists of a greyhound racetrack, an 8,370 square foot paddock building and a new 53,000 square-foot facility that houses a poker room which accommodates 450 players. Other components include a full-service restaurant, diverse concessions, and a state-of-the-art simulcast center with private betting carrels. This project is a “Green Building Project (LEED)”; the Owner achieved a GOLD LEED certification.
