WELBRO provided general contracting services for the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Smoky Mountain Resort in Gatlinburg, TN. The project consists of three facilities: a 7-story, 62,635 sf, 27-unit timeshare building with two-, three-, and four-bedroom villas that is part of the company’s upscale Signature Collection Reserve portfolio; a 5-story, 81,288 sf, 113-room Holiday Inn Express, and a 9,855 sf building containing a 8,600 sf indoor water attraction with waterslides and a themed, interactive children’s splash zone. Construction framing is hollow core construction for the timeshare building, cast-in-place post-tension construction for the hotel and structural steel construction for the water park building.
