WELBRO Building Corporation provided Construction Management Services for the demolition and renovation of an office building known locally as the “Gold Building.”
Phase 1 included demolition of existing office space. Phase 2, included renovation of the existing building and construction of a 17,500 sf meeting facility expansion. The existing building is a 40 yr old, ten-story office building with two levels of underground parking being converted to a Westin Hotel. The Westin now consists of 310,000 net square feet with 353 parking spaces. There are 261 guestrooms including 23 suites, 17,500 sf of meeting and pre-function space, a restaurant and bar, upper level exterior breakout bar and lounge space, Westin workout facility and an outdoor swimming pool.
