WELBRO’s Contribution to the Historic Vietnam War Aircraft Monument at Joe Kittinger Park

On this day 49 years ago, eight U.S. soldiers lost their lives and 137 were wounded following a hotel bombing by Viet Cong terrorists in Saigon.

During the Vietnam War, the Air Force flew F-4 Phantom jets. WELBRO recently poured the concrete foundation for and was key in the coordination effort of a monument showcasing one of these retired jets. Make sure you stop by Col.
